What Is The Importance Of When We Take Certain Medications, Such As Azilect?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have a friend and she and I both take Azilect. She takes it in the morning and I take it at night. I was just wondering when others take it and see what the difference is. Also, if your neuro told you when to take it.

I use CVS Drugstore for my prescriptions... and had similar cost issue with Pristque, the next generation for Effexor.. My insurance company accepted the online discount code and reduced my copay from $80 to $20 and was automatic for the next time I needed a refill.... It's amazing how easy it is, by using Google to reduce the cost of the meds we need - directly from the company developing the drug, especially when there is no generic replacement... Hope all is going well for the both of you.... Alan

Azilect apparently was approved 2006 and patient date expires 2017 - we can only hope for a generic drug that year!!

Take it in the morning and have for 10 years. Also at that morning dose I take Mirapex, Comtan, Carbidopa, and Amantadine. This is the only time I take the Azilect but some of the others I take numerous times. No problems!

I thought it was a great drug helped me a lot for a few years wile the insurance covered it. It mostly helped with the pain. I took it in the morning. I am taking the old drug Selegiline now. It doesn't slow down progression, but added to my other drug I think it is helping with some of the pain.

I take azilect in the morning that's when my doctor told me to take it. Has been on it now for almost six years. Just one pill.
