I understand that someone with Parkinson's can qualify for a serviced dog if they need it. Does anyone have one and if so what are some of the issues that can be challenging?
Yes I do. His name is Ammo. He is a 1 year old German Shepherd. He is able to bridge for me to get up upon falls or just from one knee. He is just over 100lbs. to my 130lb frame.
I have an English Bulldog. He is an emotional support dog. He helps me get through my anxiety attacks, calms me down, don't know what I'd do without him.Emotional support dogs don't need any special training they just have to be there. I got him certified because He might not be allowed in some housing without it.I couldn't make it without him.
