I thought that my itching sensations were drug related since they occur primarily at night. I suspected that the itching was cause by a combination of two or more drugs taken at bedtime. My doctor said that the pin-prick itching sensations could be related to my diabetes or an allergic reaction to sometime in my bedroom. And then I developed Shingles so the flushing or itching is more widespread on my body. Thankfully, the Shingles (chicken pox) have dried up and is no longer evident.
Talk with the doctor again, as well as, a pharmacist. Drug interactions can be difficult to identify if your doctor or pharmacist is not aware of every drug, supplement, and over the counter medicine you take.
