Any Information About Smoking Cigarettes And/or Electronic Cigarettes Being Used To Prevent Or Protect From Parkinson's?

I quit smoking 2 years ago...but with 2 siblings with Parkinson's...I'm worried...I was even thinking of doing electronic cigs....altho I hate the thought of the addiction.

Hello @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. I have never heard anything about this method of treating Parkinson's with E-cigs. I cannot blame you for being somewhat vulnerable in taking these e-cigs on and for you to be very concerned that you have 2 siblings with Parkinson's. Heck....I would take them on too IF I thought they would help with my Parkinson's. Let me check this stuff out to see what is being reported on e-cigs and get back to you. Sterling

I quit smoking over 9 or more years ago, but I chew nicotine gum all this time my DRS day it won't hurt me. It helps me to not drool and it gives me a boost. Nicotine others are okay too!

Thanks. There is some connection or protection with smoking and Parkinson's, I have read.
