I usually get 5-7 hrs of sleep, but I was curious if it is not getting 7-8 hrs (which does not seem likely), or is it one or more of the meds, or combination of them? (I take Rytary, Azilect, and Keppra, all of which have sleepiness listed as side affects). Lately I come home around 3 pm and have to lie down because I feel exhausted.
I do, at times.. I can usually take a power nap and I am good for the afternoon. A power nap, to me, is 20 minutes. I find them refreshing and calming! Blessings to you, Pam.
Yep! Only sleep 4-5 hours at night! I do sleep better if I don't nap, maybe 5-6 hours if lucky, but drag in the afternoons and evenings. When I was working I carpooled with a couple. They did the driving, even when we used my car, I slept from work to home and often from home to work in the morning. I bought a chair and step stool to put in my office and my secretary knew when I closed the door and tuned off the light, don't let anyone in! I would set my phone alarm for 20 minutes (in lieu of a lunch break) and felt much better after.
Now that I no longer work I take naps some days, not others, depending on my schedule.
Have you gone to their website for the discount card?
I was fallinf asleep at work in the afternoons. I was able eto time shift and come to work at 5AM and head home at 2PM. I have not slept well for many years now.
Sounds as though you may be readying yourself for a lifestyle change. I had to do that. I was constantly needing naps, my manager knew of my struggles. Finally, I couldn't get out of bed. My local neurologist had to intervene and I was sent to a movement disorder specialist at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago. Sometimes, we just need to listen to our bodies. They answer to a higher wisdom than we know!!
