We will be calling Dr but wanted some feedback from this site! Do we switch meds,if so to what ? Or do we live with the hallucinations? Festination( shuffling quickly ) has not really improved with this drug !

Carbadopa levadopa can cause them too. My husband has started having them-- so far were just ignoring them.

I took Mirapex for a while, but then switched to Pramapexole which is the generic form of Mirapex and it is less expensive. My dosage is one at 6AM and one at noon. That is the lowest dose I can take and keep leg cramps at bay. This is my 21st year with PD. My biggest problem at present is freezing which can cause me to fall. Unfortunately there isn't much that will help with shuffling and freezing, that I have found.

When I increased my dosage of Mirapex, I also had hallucinations but they only lasted a month or so. I would wait it out to see if they go away. If not check back with your Dr.
