now I am going to be very grown up with this question. does anyone else have trouble with wind in their tummies and can't control it. It is a real problem for me, very embarrassing especially when you are in a public place. and even more embarrassing when you are with company
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. My now deceased father-in-law, said "never trust a fart...especially an old fart". There's your humor for the day. Sterling
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Hi Bene. Don't "fool" around with this not knowing. Do not "pass go...do not collect $200"..:-) Get your doctor to order a DAT scan for you immediately. Although having a DAT Scan is not 100% definitive....it is so much better than the guessing game your doctor might play. DAT scans will reveal the dopamine loss and levels and can tell you far more than a doctor who analyzes your symptom can. It is covered by your Medicare Insurance.
Good luck and stay in touch with what you decide and discover. Sterling
I am having the same issue. I attributed it to the fact that I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. I exercise quite a bit, and am not having constipation problems. Only the gas which, as you say, can be quite embarrassing at times.
Our little granddaughter used to giggle and announce "papa tooted, teeheee"
I too have trouble with, what my grandson says are body burbs. He also try's to outdo me.
