Sleeping Too Well?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm feeling blessed that I am able to sleep so well. However, I'm starting to wonder if it's just way too much. I seriously sleep ten or eleven hours at night. Never ever nap. I've always been a good sleeper but this is crazy. I just started Sinemet so it can't be that. Only other thing I take is 10mg. of Paxil. I drink a little wine at night. Anyone else experience this? I know most can't sleep so I should be grateful.

I sleep a great deal more than before. I sleep 8-10 hours a night and directly after I take my Levodopa. It knocks me out for a couple of hours. I took sinemet too and slept more than normal. I make sure to walk an hour everyday and it helps me sleep better. I love sleeping now that I can (I used to be tired all the time) so I'm grateful!

I forgot to say that I generally sleep about 7 hours. I usually have a nap during the evening.

This is exactly my situation, too. I never turn over or change my position during the night. I fall asleep easily and I don't wake up until morning.. I used to have quite a lot of trouble falling asleep.
