My husband just switched yesterday and we are wondering what good (and bad) experiences others have had.

@MarieMorton--as long as the current drugs are working, I would stick with them. If they seem to be failing, then ask the doctor about options as there are many available. My husband now takes Rytary, Mirapex and Azilect.

Joe switched from Stelevo to Rytary. He still takes sinemet ER at night. He has generally done much better on the Rytary, but it sure is expensive!!

My husband was put on Rytary in the last 3 months. He is doing very good on it. We need to find someone who will not charge us an outrageous price for it.

You may need to correct/decrease the doseage with your dr,s help...watch for dyskinesas, especially at the end of the day.
