About 1 hour before my next dose of levocarb my legs, feet and toes really act up. Yesterday I was at a funeral and there was quite a lot of standing and sitting. It was 1/2 hour before my next dose and I found even standing difficult with my toes clenching, ankle turning in and calves and thighs feeling so very tight. I had to hold onto the pew in front of me or I would have fallen. Walking out of the church was also a challenge. Thinking its time for a cane. What have you tried? I go to… read more
I have been an RN for about 50 years and in the state of Washington we are allowed an hour leeway before or after a time med is ordered to be in compliance withdraws order. Sometimes we'd get a specific order and we'd try within all our power to get it to them within a few minutes of that time but sometimes it wouldn't be right on time. If it happens constantly I'd report it to the supervisor or the state ultimately if it were a problem
So far the PD has affected tumors mainly in hands and arms and not legs. I do get fatigued and shoulders ache. I find that sometimes before my ext does of levocarb my hands and/or are or arms start tremors half an hour or ore before. I' m not taking anything else to help so this might be why I have a lot of problems with break thru tremors
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member thanks for responding to my question. I have another question - if you take your meds half an hour earlier do you have to adjust all your med times that remain for that day? For example I take my meds at (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) and 6:30 (pm). So if I took my 10:30 dose at 10:00 should I take my 2:30 at 2:00 and my 6:30 at 6:00 ?
When this happens I take my meds half an hour earlier, therwise I am bent over, stuck to the ground and cannot move a muscle.....
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member thank you for your answer! What med did he add and was it successful in lessening or resolving your problem?
