I continually experience strong aching pain in my arm between elbow and shoulder regardless of whether my arm is supported or not - it feels as if I am carrying a 50 gallon full barrel and just can't take any more weight. I also experience back pain just below my neck in a "pilgrim collar" shaped area extending down to just above my waist. Anyone experience this aching, cramping pain and if so what does one take or do to remedy the pain?
@MaureenOman :Try water therapy, that's what my pain management doctor recommended. I also use hot water bottle two or three times a day and the pain is gradually subsiding. My opinion about pain killers is that you will not be able to determine how bad the pain is and to what extent is the pain if you keep your self on pain medication but natural cure such as massage and water therapy might help.
Hope I'm able to help. Be blessed
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - Thanks for your input...
I can sympathize with the pain and cramps. I share you problems. I sometimes use Vicadin tor the aches and cramps.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - how is your water therapy coming along? My tremors are becoming so bad - so quickly, accompanied by pain that I could just scream. I am having difficulty getting my doctor to call me to know what to do next - I don't know how long I can take this - No Choice - Right?
Take Aleve in evening and this helps some. Pain relief ointment hasn't helped so far
