Medication
I am currently taking [[treatment:Sinemet:55d551c11fcaa39f0e[[phone:000079]] 25-100:]]. I am to take 2 pills 3x daily. However I have not been instructed as to how much time I should leave between each dose. Would anyone be able to share with me what your schedule looks like? I have been told that taking pills on time is very important. I do know the rule about protein-- Take medication 30 minutes before eating or 2 hours after eating.
My husband takes 1 regular c/l and 2 c/l CR at 6 am……1 of each c/l at 10 am, 2 pm and 6 pm
I was just talking to someone in the drug section at publix who asked me why i did not take Sinemet instead of Carbidopa, after I had a problem with the new manufacturer they were using for my Carbi. It was not reacting with me well.. I did not know why my doctor did not give me Sinemet. Maybe because the price is higher?? I will have to look into that. My question is, do any of you take Sinemet instead of Carbidopa and why, and if you found it to work better,
Lyrica is for pain, helps a little.

Does anyone else take rytary and carvadopa/levadopa at the same time. I was in the ER because the medication reaction and they said it was because I was taking these 2 meds together. Just wondered if anyone else is on that combination?
Yes, I think Ropinorole is the best for me. I take it three times a day four milligrams with 1 1/2 carbo/levo 125 and my arnp says that's a max on it.. 6pm only carbo/levo..
Only been on any medication for 2 weeks and taking every 8 hours (so 3 times a day). After 6.5 to 7 hrs I start to feel pretty bad and shakey inside. I'll ask my doctor of course but live in Houston so couldn't reach today (city is flooded and didn't feel this warranted an emergency call). Wondered if anyone's on line who has advice as I'm dreading this evening and morning. Also - how long does it take to properly work? I've seen a lot of improvement (I can shower without fear of falling and do… read more
My husband has stooped posture, muscle rigidity, oily face, weakness on right side, back pain and walking difficulty. He has bladder urges especially at night and constipation, but he doesn't have a tremor. He didn't start taking this medicine last year because I heard it can cause you to start having tremors. Does anyone else take this medicine even though they didn't have tremors???
My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in August of 2018. He has MANY of the PD symptoms but to this date has not had tremors and has been taking Carbadopa/Levadopa 25/100 3 x a day since his… read more
I am wondering if some you could tell me what you have done/or are doing to prolong the effect of your medication. Also, is anyone using some kind of a pump? Sorry, I don't know what it is called. It is supposed to deliver the medication more evenly.
