Inheriting Parkinsons?

My 93yr old Mom has advanced Parkinsons; My husband's Dad had Parkinsons and has passed away. I am just wondering if we or our siblings are more likely to develop Parkinson's?

No one in my family has ever had it, and i am the most fit of all of us. Go figure !

I also have PD in my family my mom, her mother ,also my mom's sister .

Blood relatives are more likely to have it, the disease is genetic

My mother is currently completely bedridden with advanced Parkinson's Disease. My father's sister is a nursing home as well. My mother had an uncle who had it. I was diagnosed in 12/16.
