I have been reading a lot about light therapy since coming across Outthinking Parkinson's. Has anyone tried it, and, if so, with what results? Is the necessary equipment freely available?
Dear Seagull,, I couldn't get the glasses on approval, but in this first week I have slept much better and am able to reduce my medication a little bit. I am excited to see what happens over the next few weeks. I researched light therapy a lot and believe it is gaining credibility in the medical field. I will try to give you a weekly note on my results.

Thank you so much for answering my query. I am, of course, aware of Propeaq, having watched Dr. Sharpe's video, but I have not gone so far as to place an order. I guess I've been thinking "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is". However, my husband's medication seems to do little for him apart from controlling the tremor, and his consultant doesn't appear very interested in the non-motor symptoms which are the more troubling. It is really hard to see him struggling so much, and seeming to get worse on an almost daily basis, and so I am certainly not ruling out the light therapy, which does seem to have some scientific credence as far as I can ascertain.
Did you buy your lenses on approval? I should be most grateful if you would keep me informed of your progress.
I am in the process of testing a light source from Propeaq of the Netherlands. Dr. Gary Sharpe has had some good results using this system. So far, I am sleeping better, and I have cut the drugs down a little. Too early to tell for sure.
