it seems if I have any kind of dairy product my stomach gets s really hard And bloats . Has anyone else noticed this ?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I have had problems with constipation and some bloating. Another name for bloating is called meteorism. You might want to go to the drugstore and get some excellent probiotic with at least 6 billion cultures in it to help keep your gut clean and healthy. Sincerely, Sterling
Hi @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member (Des) willie is the one with the PD. I am his wife. The english People call him : Willy but the africaner alway say willie and he eat cheese but no milk sins I met him he dont like milk just a little bit in his cereal in the monning and black tee he dont drink coffee, I am the coffee drinker
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to try coco milk. I've tried a bunch of different almond and rice milks because my niece is lactose intolerant. I'd prefer to eat cereal dry. They weren't my favourite .
I'm ok with 1% milk in my cereal and in Tea or Coffee and in a glass once in a while. I grew up on milk and I can't imagine giving it up completely. It's really the fresh cheddar or cream that gets me.
I can eat yogurt also, I prefer Greek style.
I'm awake to take midnight pills and watch an episode of "Restoration Man"
I haven't had any problem with dairy. In the late 80's got a head ache everytime I drank mild. One day on the Today show. Art Erlaine said if you had headaches go to 2% milk & that should stop the problem.I did it did.as whole milk has a lot of ft in it.He also said that a person over 35 ---40should stop drinking whole milk and go to 2% as your body is starting to cut back on the fat content it need as it aged ,Said 1 % wasn't anything but,
colored water to himSo far I can do all dairy all types of cheese, ice cream milk but, listening I may know what to expect as well as not having taste buds, nor sense of smell. How long had you all been dx this happened
to you I was dx in 2012 Some thing else to look forward to.Huh? Take Care God Bless Hugs πππ
You might be lactose intolerant. Avoid dairy (and Lactaid milk, which can still cause problems). If you wait to eat cheese (can't give it up), then use Lactaid tablets. Nothing to do with PD.
