I have yearly hearing tests which show hearing loss in both ears. My audiologist and ENT physician both indicated that I have tinnitus with the buzzing bees. I have expensive hearing aids but they tend to amplify the sounds. Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between tinnitus and the hallucinations. The repetitions of tones and songs is extremely annoying since they occur at the same time. My movement disorder doctor prescribed Seroquel 12.5.mg this week. He has indicated that there was nothing else to try.

Thanks for this information. I see my movement disorder doctor in early July. I plan to him review all my meds. Have the hallucinations stopped?

My husband was started on 12.5mg Seroquel then increased to 25mg when he had hallucinations as he was coming off the Neupro Patch. He was told by his Neurologist it could interfere with other drugs he was taking. He stopped abruptly and for two days he was in bed could not do anything coming off the Seroquel. Read the side effects and interactions closely and make sur your pharmacist knows what what you are taking. They put him back on 12.5 mg for. Week then 1/4 before stopping. Good Luck to you, blaessings, Ann

Well the best place to contact me is through MPT. I don't use email much. I look forward to reading your messages on this site.

Take care.
