Today, I had a cramp in my foot.My toes curled.I couldn't move my foot.I know it's related to PD.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Just to be clear, you need to eat a banana every day to help avoid leg cramps. And because i is a natural remedy it does take a bit of time before the benefits kick in.

Shortly after i was diagnosed I was getting them when I walked for a while, Dr started me on requip er, I no longer have them unless I forget my meds or if I am on my feet and walking all day.

I have it in my feet and in my hands and they both curl inward it's very painful. I get cramps in my calves as well. I have a condition call Dystonia.

The best thing for me is exercise, specifically yoga stretches, but it has to be done on a regular basis (every day or two), not just now and then, and not just when you have the cramps. Exercise seems to be the most effective thing, for me, against foot and leg cramps.
