Since I started exercising EVERY day and eating less to no bread and sugar. Take 0.5 Ropinerole three times a day. Unless I'm overly stressed or super tired I don't have a tremor anymore. Have lots of sleeping issues; that makes it worse

Nancy Higgs, I too am on Ropinerole three times a day. I have not given up any kinds of food yet. My tremors are minimal. I do have sleep issues though. Seems like I am up and roaming around in the house almost every night. Just wanted you to know others have this same problem. Was diagnosed about 2 years ago and the progression of PD has been very slow. My neurologist told me that since I was as old as I am (80) and just diagnosed the PD would probably not progress as fast as if I were much younger. Of that, I am thankful. I have other health problems besides PD and right now the PD is not my top concern. Don't get me wrong, I am very concerned with it. It is just that swollen feet and legs is very concerning to me. Seems like there is some new ailment every day. But God is so good to have provided me with excellent doctors to help with all of this. Life has not really turned out like I had hoped, but when I look around and read some of these posts, I am very blessed. Fortunately, I have a good caregiver. We have been married 61 years and that is a long time. Seems like only yesterday when I look back over my life with him. Hope every one has a good day today. Keep your faith strong and we will get down this road called PD.

I have but was on high medication at the time it took at leat 10 x Madapor at 62.5mg taking in 4 separate dosages each with a 200mg entacapone to enable this to happen. I took them as 3 x 62.5mg am and lunchtime then 2 x 62.5 late afternoon and 2 x 62.5mg at bedtime each dosage had to have the entacapone taken with them as this drug lengthens the life of the madapor the problem with this quantity was my moods were unpredictable and I was on the maximum my system could take considering my weight...........

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Yes I am very blessed to have my good caregiver. He is very laid back and takes each new ailment in stride. Our life's motto right now is "it is what it is" and we don't have a plan B. Down thru the years we have faced many challenges, just as many on the website have. God has always been our source of strength and courage. Our daughter-in-law had MS for 17 years and passed away four years ago. Our daughter has MS and is still doing pretty well. Those are very difficult challenges because it is your children. Our faith in God is what gets us thru each day. And you have to have a sense of humor to get you thru some days. Sorry I have rambled on so . I just wanted you to know I appreciate all that my caregiver does for me. So, I am wishing you a good day today and that tomorrow will be even better.
