I have gained a lot of weight since being on these meds but I feel like it's mostly fluid I am unable to fit into clothes I have worn for years I am so uncomfortable in my own body . I tried to diet it doesn't seem to be helping I wake up in the morning and sometimes my stomach is flat or after I eat something or as the-day goes on my stomach bloats up so big and so hard i look like I'm pregnant and sometimes it painful .I have never had a big stomach before . I was on ropinirole . Went off of it and lost 50 lbs. If you take this you may want to talk to your doctor.

HI! well my neurologist told me at the first meeting : lose weight. at first I lost 40, exercising like crazy,, and I managed to loose 45. lbsI also was on mirapex

I had the bloated stomach,also. For me, it was caused by Amantadine and Mirapex. I've had terrible leg pain for years. Since I began Rytary and I am on Azilect, I've lost about 25 lbs.

Is kind of funny, since been diagnosed with PD 12 years ago, I gained more than 70 pounds......
and I can't stop eating, after I need to eat a lot, because is the only way that the dizziness that
meds are affecting my system, eating is the only remedy, is like a compulsive eating....perhaps
is the side effect of the Mirapex or the antidepressant meds...is a Catch 2 situation!!!
