The left side of my husband's body from neck to toes is swollen. Dr has no idea, but has run basic tests for heart and blood pressure and etc. My husband gets some massage and seems to help a bit. It definitely helps when he takes ginseng.
My husband has something similar. He has swelling on his left. Would you believe that many patients with Fibromyalgia has similar issues and no one can figure it out either. PD is a chronic condition of the brain which deteriorates over time and this swelling could just be part of this deterioration is. My husband finds that exercise helps but I have done a study on how the lower lymphatic system works which can mean the body's natural system that moves fluids from one part of the body to the next could be effected. Deep tissue massage, for instance, on the legs where using your whole hand moving them from toes up the leg to the knees and back down to the toes is one way to help. Working the same way on the shoulders from fingers to shoulder and back. About 5 minutes per limb. If you can try to get a physical therapy appointment with someone who is familiar with this method.
That was happened to me. My doctor put me on Rytary and increased the dosage as well as having to double my water intake. No more swelling.
My face is swollen and feels stiff when I get up in the morning, but by afternoon, its better.
My husband has one leg bigger than the other, Drs have looked at it and did test but nothing came of it.
