I had a brain tumor thank God it wasn't malignant but the surgeon got into my motor skills and I had to learn Everything all over again . I wonder if that what caused my PD.

I know of one case where a man was diagnosed with PD and his pharmacist studies all his meds and came to realize his meds might be the cause of his symptoms. The interaction of his meds was causing the sysmptoms . He did not have PD and is now symptom free.

Good question. I just asked a specific question regarding Latuda and Abilify.

I've been told that the meds do not cause Parkinson's but that it was there and "unmasked".

I'm not sure I believe that.

From my understanding PD is a Neurological condition cause by a trauma to the head most times. I’m not sure but over my years I have had quite a few concussions. Before I was diagnosed 3-4 years ago I had major heart surgery and suffered a small stroke on the table, a few months later I had a scan done and the Drs found I had 3 small strokes and a bleed on the brain. I have not heard of PD from other sources so I will watch this question you have asked, it’s really interesting.

I was diagnosed with PD after taking pristiq, an antidepressant. I wonder too if this is permanent.
