Hello I have not been "officially" diagnosed with PD though my GP thinks I have it and has put me on Levodopa. I have a dozen or more PD symptoms though the first neurologist I saw said "I did not have PD!" I'm waiting for an appointment with another neurologist.
Question: Do symptoms come and go? I have had several symptoms appear for 1 or 2 months then disappear. This was before I was put on Levodopa. Is this common with PD??

I agree. I drive 5 hours to see my movement disorder specialist at Cleveland Clinic. Worth it
If there is any way to do it near where you live, find a movement disorder specialist! These are neuologists with special training in Parkinsons and related diseases. It is worth driving a couple of hours to see one. My husband's doctor has patients who fly in from Hawaii to Northern California to see him. That's how important it is to see a movement disorder specialist.
Levadopa helps symptoms ALOT!
