Is anyone struggling with PKD also impacted by Dystonia? My specific area of concern is when the legs and toes curl inward and the pain is excruciating, similar t what one might have experienced on the rack during the Spanish Inquisition? If anyone has this experience of cramping, does anything besides waiting for RX to relieve the cramps work for you? I have tried massage - soaking in very hot water to no avail.
Try a muscle relaxant. My PT said it might be from too much sinemet
When my Sinemet starts to wear off the toes of my right foot start to curl under and my right leg wants to bend back and generally move around. This can make the muscles sore to the point where its almost impossible to walk.
It happens to me anytime I get anxious specially in the morning before taking my first dose of sinemet while working out it's that tense that my toe nail is cutting in half and bottom of my shoes is cracking.the only thing it releases it immediately is I go in push up position with tip of my toes in the pushing outward or push it against a wall like Che position you want to climb the wall hopefully works out for you too
Have to try that
I started to get that going in a month now what I do I put my bottom of my feet upward like you are claiming the wall and press it till it opens. If not I go in push up position with tip of my foot finger on the floor.its releases it immediately
