Initial Diagnosis
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

What was your examination like when you were first diagnosed with PD? Mine seems rather quick and perfunctory. The Doc said I had PD just by watching me walk into the office. I take Carbidopa-Levodopa 25-100, 3 times a day; Entacapone 200 MG two times a day; and Rasagiline Mesylate, 1 MG once a day.

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

to development of aspirational pneumonia, the leading cause of that-which-I-try-not-to-dwell-upon. My questions 1) Anyone know if there is a treatment? 2) Prevention is in this case better than a cure, so can anyone recommend ways to keep from breathing in chunks of food? I understand speech therapists sometimes have success.
