Reactions Taking Meds
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question đź’

Has anyone found that they feel better going off Rytary and Neupro? My husband went through reaction beyond words. They kept increasing meds saying it was PD. I became so frustrated I started cutting back. He now has azilect in the am GoCoveri at bedtime and doing ok. Some Stiffness in extremities but gets in and out of the car, golfs. We question the diagnosis years ago. He has always struggled/ reacted taking meds.

My husband has now discontinued neupro and Rytary. He is taking Azilect in the morning two GoCoveri at bedtime. He is struggling with stiffness going to PT. Reacts to any type of levodopa. Still golfs. Diagnosed 14 years ago.

I've been on the Neupro patch, now at 4mg for a few months now and really don't know if it is helping or not. I don't think there are any side effects. I wonder if it is new here as there is no charge and perhaps I am part of a test.

I know in the beginning they tried to put me on mirapex and I had a severe reaction. He hasn’t started sinamet yet?
