great link discussing the different PD Rx drugs we take - great video

AND YES I TAKE Selegiline 5 mg X2 daily...it is It is used in newly diagnosed patients with Parkinson's disease. It may slow progression of the clinical disease and delay the requirement for levodopa therapy. It also may be given with levodopa upon the beginnings of PD, which is when I started taking it....

Selegilline is a drug used to help slow down the sinemet in order to prolong its effectiveness. Yes, in other words to try to alleviate “off” time. I was on it for awhile but after DBS I no longer needed it.
