@Payton, the mouth problems are frequently associated with PD; in fact loss of taste snd/or smell is sometimes the first symptom which says something is wrong. Are you saying the mouth problems have been diagnosed as being something different?

My husband had this some time before diagnosed with PD. He can rarely enjoy spicy foods. No pepper anymore and coffee cannot be too hot. I had no idea it was associated with the Neuropathy. I thought it was symptom of PD. I found several references to it online associated with PD. Even toothpaste would burn his mouth and I have to buy children's toothpaste for him.
