NOH

Can anyone share what has helped you with nOH? I take medication for high blood pressure but I'm now experiencing orthostatic hypertension. Any thing that has helped you would be appreciated..

I have NOH and didn't want to take a medication that might shoot my BP too high. I wear compression thigh highs (you do get used to putting them on, and they feel great). I stay hydrated and take extra salt, especially in hot weather. And as @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member said, stand up slowly and don't walk until your BP has stabilized (takes a few seconds for me).

Thank you for your helpful answer😊😊. I did buy some compression leggings but they are impossible to get on.
I have wide feet and a wide butt. I'll have to try thigh high 's.😊
