Has PD patient experienced low hemoglobin, low iron and/or anemia in relation to Parkinson's?
I’m driving the nurse crazy hasn’t said it but keeps telling me I’m got the hang of pump so quick I will see a difference soon she said some people need help for weeks the injection bit tricky that’s it you’re welcome to ask me daily today still best day collected neice nephew no dyskinesia so far card lady
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I recently had regular blood test and hemoglobin and iron low and I'm anemic. Internist sent me to gastro to find out what's wrong. Gastro gave me more specific iron test and scheduled me for a colonoscopy and endoscopy thinking I was bleeding internally. Then I googled PD and anemia and found that anemia was a precursor to PD. So now I wonder if I need the gastro procedures. No one seems to know about the connection. However, Google listed several trials and abstracts. Very frustrating.
How are you and your pump doing? Hope your phone is not ringing anymore. How is the dyskinesia? That's first on my elimination list. Number 2 is the tremor. Having physical therapy today and box with the therapist. Planning to punch the hell out PD.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member No one but the internet suggests that it is PD. I'm taking iron and vitamin C. Hope that this will help but experiencing stomach problems. Maybe infusion is better.
I had it done different reasons cardlady oncologists thought radiation might have caused internal damage because nausea went on for months after wards thankfully only slightly inflamed treated it ok 👍🏼
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Gee, I think I was expecting a miracle. How silly of me. Did they tell you what you can expect. I know everyone is different. OK, I'll be patient and not drive you crazy by asking. Wish you the best,
