Calibrace+ Back Brace
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone used Calibrace+ by AbiliLife? This is a back brace developed for PD to help posture and was featured in a newsletter from Davis Phinney Foundation. Did you find it helpful and did Medicare help pay for it?

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Thanks for your advice. They recommend that as well as having my neuro write a scrip. I tried something like this from amazon w/o scrip and it was uncomfortable. My back pain from bulging disks, stenosis, etc. exacerbated by PD is bad. This may help but it costs $1,195 and I would have to have medicare and insurance pay (I'm looking into it).

I have no idea of what it is . I'd recommend you talk to a reliable PT you know.
