Since I am having more wearing off times than on times with caradova/levodopa my Neurologist wants me to have surgery and get Duopa Pump. Does anyone have one? Has it helped with off times? Does anyone have an answer as to how to stop coughing and chocking on eating certain foods eg: Toast, or anything with coconut or nuts in their food? Very embarassing if out and this happens I usually excuse myself and leave the room a bit hard if you are in a group, like at the Bowls Club, or social gatherings.

I am considering a gastro feeding tube, sooner than later, and am wondering if anyone has any experiences they can share either as a patient or caregiver. What was the procedure like?
