You are not able to predict how long you may be in a Stage. Some people have had PD over 47 years and still function effectively. PD is an individual disease that affects different people at different stages and rates. I'm not aware of any predictions that how long you will be in each stage...I have been diagnosed in 2008 and still have a mild case, but generally, I'm in stage 2." Healthline" has a good paper on the stages, called The 5 Stages of Parkinson's, but no one can predict how long you remain in each stage.

How long can each stage of pd last? If I am stage 4 ,for example, how long can I stay there?
