Does Anyone Suffer From Incontinence Specifically In "off Periods "
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I find that l suffer from urinary incontinence during my off periods although l don't have any problems at other times. My GP is unable to offer any reasons for this. I have no faith in my neurologist and so far have not discussed this with him. I have just changed to a new Parkinson's nurse and when the current restrictions are over l will discuss it with her. Does anyone else suffer in a similar way.

Yes. happened a few times a few years ago. This year happens more frequently. If I know I will go out during the day, I avoid drinking anything for a couple of hours before I go out, if possible. I ordered Depends from Amazon and will use if I know I might be in a situation. For me, I've had an increasingly weak bladder for years. Now incontinence too.

My Parkinsons Nurse Sarah said that the brain sends the wrong messages to say you need to go to pee and you will find that you don't want to go when you try to go then later you just wet yourself, i have Cystitis really bad because you can't empty your bladder properly which causes an infection, i have to wear incontinence pants now
