What To Do About Restless Legs
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am dealing with restless legs almost every day. I don't see my dr again till December and im not taking any meds for it. My weighted blanket helps but hard to have it at work. Does anyone have any suggestions

I use a salve called lidocaine. You have to get a script. I rub it in good and it helps a lot

For my restless legs gabapentine really works well. I take pramipexole too and that helps too but I don’t like how I feel with pramipexole but I don’t like how I feel without it. What’s the answer? Give gabapentine a try.

Call your Dr. And get Ropinirole. It works wonders.

I have been taking .75 pramipexole twice a day for about 20 years. It is totally awesome. Very precise have to take it at the same time each day. currently I am taking 2 with dinner. Heating pads work also, Hope your doctor can prescribe this for you.
