I take Propanalol and melatonin. Helps me fall asleep but I don’t stay asleep! I wake up after about four hours.

I take Amitriptyline for sleep. I lay awake for a long time after I lay down. My mind going full on thinking about things. I finally fall asleep for a short period. I do that all night. I wake up so tire. I'm going to see if my doc can give me something else.

I'm on 300 mg to Seroquel in the morning and at night they really don't make me sleep that much. Couple years ago they had me on 800 mg at night My slept real good then yeah the Seroquel a chance.

I’ve read, and experienced it myself, that it is a symptom. I don’t know if that’s the only reason you may have trouble but it’s possible. I would check with my doctor if it’s too troublesome. One of my doctors has prescribed me a medication to help me sleep Trazadone 100 mg). Non-addictive and helps.
