A Drug For Panic And Anxiety Attacks That Does Not Cause More Tremors
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband is having major anxiety and panic attacks besides tremors of head and both sides of his body. Nothing seems to help Dr. Put him on vylar and smptoms got much worse. Thought they might improve after weaning of that drug but he has not. Is there a good drug for these attacks the ones he is on know are not working

I don't take amitriptyline right now, even though I have it for sleeping, years ago it worked miracles.

Hello I will tell you what helped me and that was over 25 years ago and that is the old type of antidepressant Elavil or Amitriptyline. I am not saying it will help but it sure did for me I still take it.

My psychiatrist started me on Seroquel at night and it had decreased my anxiety significantly. My tremors are pretty much under control with Sinimet.
