Can Anyone Tell Me About Your Experience With Muscle Fatigue.
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Frequently my arms and legs get overwhelmingly tired and I can hardly put one foot in front of the other. I need to rest for a little while and then I feel better. Is this muscle fatigue?

I don’t know if it is muscle fatigue, but this happens to me daily, usually when I’m in need protien or fluids.

I had never this before today. It’s very interesting that you should asked this on the day I joined the club.

When I got up I was unsteady, but that’s not unusual. I went down stairs and my thighs felt week my legs buckled and my knees went into the cupboard doors. If I hadn’t have been standing at the kitchen counter I may have gone down.

Both my forearms and my thighs were week. I have rested now and I feel better.

Ya’ll are gonna have to make room for me in that boat.

even doing pt/ot twice a wk does not slow down tiredness that like clock work starts every afternoon and continues through the evening hrs. Some days I am afraid my legs are not going to hold me up.

I wish I had an answer to this....as well as a few others. I just know it is a real nuisance. I find my whole back getting that terrible fatigue also. Can hardly function.

I experienced a period of several days where my legs were like rubber and I feared falling. That was 3 weeks ago. I was good after that until today. I am having trouble getting up out of my chair due to no strength in my legs. When I walk today I'm very shaky. Wondered if I was the only one. I guess not after reading this post. I'm trying to determine if its a progression of PD, reaction to meds, or since I slacked on my workouts this past few days.
