My husband drives easily 20 miles below the speed limit. If it's 60mph, he may drive 35 or 40 mph. He also forgets to put gas in the car. I am concerned about his getting in an accident, and feel he may need to give up driving. Your thoughts?
I stopped driving on the highway. My anxiety really kicks in when driving in traffic where speed limits are above 40 mph. Maybe you could start with a compromise, ask him to drive only around town where speed limit is lower?
Hubby crashed an empty car on the side of the street. Bye Bye License. No one hurt but he lost his license for safety.
My husband drives slow. He pulled out in front of an oncoming car. It could have been a terrible accident if the other car hadn’t responded so quickly. He was driving my car. He’s used to his truck which is much higher. It was decided that he would only his truck. He was always such a confident driver but now I can’t relax when he’s driving so no more road trips for us! Another thing that Parkinson’s has taken from us. Thanks for listening.
I was more or less in the same situation. And then I decided nog to drive.
I had to give up...I had just decided it was too scary.
My gf let me use her car to get to an appt. & if went ok. (Ride was a No Show).
So I've kept up my license, but don't think I'll be driving anymore.
