My husband was recently at a new neurologist who thinks he has either Parkinson's plus or Lewy body dementia. He has Parkinsonisms, (tremors in his right hand but nothing with balance and not many other Parkinson's symptoms) He prescribed Nuplazid for the delusions. Anyone have any insight?
Hi Carol, my husband was diagnosed with PD 2018, and with LBD 2020 with Donepezil as medication. Now this year, about six months ago the delusions and hallucinations became progressively worse. We now have Nuplazid since two weeks and of course I can't tell anything yet. I hope and pray it helps. The hallucinations are hell for us. Sorry you asked for insight, I can't give, I can only say I feel for you guys and all of us affected by this horrible illness. Hugs, prayers and many blessings ♥
