I guess I didn’t know that an itchy scalp was a PD symptom. Does anyone else deal with this? Has anyone found a cream or anything that can take this pain away?
dry skin is a symptom of PD. try some oil treatment on your scalp prior to washing yor hair and decrease the bumer of times you wash your hair a week.

Surely you should see the neurologist that referred you for. DBS or if you have a Parkinson’s nurse or if you access to the neurosurgeon that did the implant surgery especially if your scalp hurts… read more

Discovered a dry red scaly place at the beginning of my left eyebrow. I'll ask my movement neurologist next week, but does anyone else have this? Is there anything topical that's effective for you?

I have an itchy scalp and my hair has changed texture to very fine strands with dry brittle ends. I have lost a lot of hair since starting on carbodopa levodopa and Neupro. What can be done to get my hair back?

my hair is falling out taking Carbidopa /Lev and Rasagiline I was told to take Xadago and not take Rasagiline any more I went to Pharmacy and the head Pharmacy person told me they didn't have Xadago and that the Carbidopa was making me lose my hair. I'm noticing that people on this website are losing hair too.
