Neurologist Recommendations For The Myrtle Beach Area
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband with Parkinson’s and I just moved to the South Strand area of Myrtle Beach area and are looking for recommendations for a neurologist that treats Parkinson’s Disease. Need someone that is easy to talk to and isn’t rushed for time. According to his last neurologist who happened to be an MDS as well, credentials don’t necessarily mean anything, if the doctor is a butthole that you can’t speak to openly.

Does Anyone Have Any Exercises To Keep The Face From Feeling Frozen?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have Parkinson on the left side of my body. I have noticed my facial expressions becoming very tight and it is hard to smile properly. Does anyone have any exercises I can do to keep my face somewhat limber and not have that frozen feeling? Thank you.

Every morning I look in the mirror & see the turtle face or fish face. Every morning I give the mirror my sassiest smile & say "You can't get me today PD." It helps a lot!

Does Anyone Have Parkinson's And Bi-Polar Disorder?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My mother has Parkinson's and Bi-Polar Disorder. She is taking 6 Sinemet a day. 2 tablets 3 times a day the 25/100. Can you take more than that? Her doctor told her to take it when she needed it, but if she takes more than 6 a day she goes into a Mania phase of her Bi-polar.

Does anyone else have this combination and what medications are helping the Parkinson's?
