Hmm I wonder if it's a US/UK thing? Rasagiline common over here (tradename Azilect), but I've never heard Amantadine even mentioned by any of the (many!) UK healthcare workers I've spoken to over the last nine years since diagnosis.

Thank you for your reply, KTwo. I will look into the drug you mentioned, Rasagiline. I wasn't aware of it.

My body did not tolerate Amantadine. I cut my levodopa in half to eliminate the dyskenesia. Yes it is a pain to take ½ a pill every three hours, but i am much happier. I take one Rasagiline in the evening. I believe the Rasagiline is the same type of drug as Amantadine. Do not feel embarrassed. Keep doing what you want to do because the day will come when you can’t.
