People die WITH Parkinson's, NOT FROM Parkinson's.
There's no telling how long any of us have, Jessimack. We may not have tomorrow, or we may have another 50 years. Just do the best you can with what you have, and I'd say, live each day like it was your last.
Blessings, Karen

Stop thinking of yourself as dead. All the above answers say get out of bed, off your recliner & start exercising and doing the things you enjoy. Life is still worth living, with or without PD. Start gently but keep working up until you have retaught yourself how to do the things that PD tries to convince you that you will never do again. PD is lying to you. I am convinced that "The 5 Stages of PD" were written by researchers that never actually worked with anyone who has PD, and who only studied People with PD who went to their neurologists a lot or were in a nursing home. The rest of us PwP's who are out there happily living our lives were not part of that study, or the results would have been much different. It Is possible to relearn balance, walking normally, buttoning buttons. I have and so have many other PwP's. If at all possible, get a physical &/or occupational therapist to help you get started. I still ride horses, drive my manual transmission car, lift heavy weights, train dogs, hike, run downhill and have remarried, learned to accurately shoot a rifle, pistol, compound hunting bow & drive a 4-wheeler After I got PD. Others have relearned favorite activities like water skiing. Yes, be careful. But you are only as dead as you allow yourself to be.

A fall and hitting your head on the way down with no one to help is the most dangerous thing that can happen. Michael J Fox 🦊 says, a person dies with Parkinson's, they don't from Parkinson's."
