Does Anyone Else Have Such Vived Dreams And Talk, Scream Or Holler Out In Your Sleep? Does It Wake You Or Your Wake Your Spouse?

My husband told me this morning that I screamed out so loud last night that our neighbors could have heard me. I don't remember dreaming about anything. Usually, when I dream, it will wake me up or I wake myself up talking or screaming. Kind of scary but have a neuro appointment on Monday and will discuss it then.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, I have moved into a separate room, I bought a used double bed at an antique shop for $79, and bought a mattress/boxspring (serta), and I love it! I've been in this room a little over a week and have not experienced such vivid dreams. I have dreamed, but haven't woke myself up. We also had bought a baby monitor when Jim's mother was sick so her daughter could hear call out if need be. Since she passed away, her daughter gave it back to us. I set the control part in my room, and the other part in my husband's room. He wears a C-Pap at night and his sugar tends to drop at night, so I can hear him if he begins to choke, or his sugar bottoms out. or even listen as he breathes on the C-pap. He can just call out to me if he needs me for anything. We are both sleeping better.

I have sweet dreams and an occasional scary dream. I once knocked over a small tray in my sleep and broke my cute glasses. I think it is caused by stress and medications however I do love a scary movie before sleep. I was told to do mind and body exercise to keep everything in check. Good luck everyone..... I do spend one hour in the morning and one in the evening playing scrabble and word games on the computer. I also play Kings Candy Crush. It is easy and fun.

Absolutely…every night wheather I get 6 hours sleep or 3 hours sleep, I manage to get my wild REM sleep in! Imagine (if you can) if all of us that have Parkinson’s REM sleep slept in the same room one night and videotaped it. LOL 😂 what a wild party that would be!

Hi. My husband has Parkinson's going on 26 yrs now. He used to have terrible dream He would act them out. I got hit and kicked many times. Had to wake him up. Sometimes he would go right back into dream. It was crazy. He was put on clonazepam. It controls those dreams. He was put on 0.5 mg but half of that at night works great . Hope this helps someone with the dreams.
