Does Anyone Use Supplements To Support Your Body's Systems While Still Taking Your Medication For PD?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My neurologist has ordered vitamins with B6 and B 12 to be taken with. Carpidopa/ levodopa. My chiropractor has suggested I add minerals, neurological cream, and ultra clear to rid my body of the toxins. Does anyone take supplements to supplement their Parkinson's medicine?

To everybody. Don't forget to implement some very powerful anti-inflammatories. Here are four of them: 1) Original Glutathione, 2) Vitalzym, 3) Tumeric, and 4) Dihydrolipoic Acid. You can Google them and order online. Godspeed. Sterling

To supplement my PD meds, I take B6, B-12 and B-Complex, C, D3, Minerals, a good Multi-Vitamin, Essential Fatty Acids, CoQ10, Iron, Calcium Citrate, Niacin, Tumeric, Original Glutthione, Selenium and L-Cysteine...but I am not familiar with neurological cream or ultra clear. Where and what are they? Would love to hear more details from you. Thank you. Sterling

You should discuss with your doctor all supplements before taking any. For example, multi-vitamins often contain iron which may interact adversely with one or more of your medications.

I take B12 shots weekly and 1200 mg of Coq10 daily. They seem to help my energy level. Perhaps it's psychological, but if you think it helps, perhaps that's better than nothing!
