episodes of memory loss. short term and long term memory.
Sometimes I have A hard time getting my words out... And also I forget sometimes ...
I have lots of problems gripping items... It really is painful , I have no stren gth in my hands , I cannot grip at all...
Thanks for reply Missy and Sondra, it's more frustrating when you know how good a memory you had.
Another issue of mine is trying to pick things up my hands tremor like crazy or trying to turn a page in the paper or book. I am not allowed to wash the crystal glasses or anything delicate.
My husband was diagnosed 17 years ago and he has memory loss in some areas...computer use and cell phone and tv use. He has difficulty operating these devices when he was a computer whizz before. In other areas, his memory is fine.
My husband has memory issues also. He was first put on the Exelon patch, which worked well, but then our insurance refused to pay for it. So, he was switched to the oral equivalent. It made him nauseous at first, but he worked through it. Problem is, he has to remember to take it twice a day with meals. His Dr. has now switched him to Aricept. He will start it once he finishes the other.
