Caffeine, if only it was a cure for everything. But, it sure gives me the energy I need.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Hi. Wow what a story. I would say you're very fortunate to be alive. That research we did here at the Parkinson's forum revealed that tobacco or smoking does not prevent you from getting Parkinson's. Best wishes to you. Sterling
I have never smoked. I'll look into upping my caffeine intake. Don't drink a cup every day, but do need more energy.
My go to is a Diet Coke when when I feel off. I do think the caffeine in the coke helps, somewhat like the nicotine.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Update. I just heard that Mirapex ER gets stronger over time. Why weren't we told by our doctor about this? Instead I was told it was no longer effective for me. :-(
