My brother had Parkinson's and just passed away last month, he had it for at least 10 years or so. I have had it for 5 already, I think my mother may have had it but wouldn't be tested for anything, she was so shakey she could not sign checks for the last several years of her life, I had to take it over. Some cousins have PD also.

This is the question I have been waiting to find! Granddad had "creeping paralysis" which I finally read is PD, he died in his 70's pampered to death by Grandma! What reeeellly concerns me is our 4 children. They all have tremors but could be Essential tremors from their dad's family. But I "suspect" him to also have PD: where does that leave our children? One has lessened ability to smell, anxiety is high on the list, memory is a real problem with one and ALSO her 8 yr old!; stability, pain - I am VERY concerned, some days bordering on worry.
