Does Any One Else Have Trouble With Heartburn
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question đź’

I am having an awful time with heartburn and gastric reflux and it seems like I have it for 24/7. Does anyone else have the same problem

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Good morning. If you have acid reflux, if you have not already, you must see a gastroenterologist. We usually don't get rid of this without a doctor's help. It will probably get worse and then it develops into heartburn, GERD, maybe ulcers or throat and swallowing problems. The doctor will prescribe medication for it, of which you will be taking for as long as 6 or 8 months. It takes a while to get rid of it but do see your doctor right away for an endoscopy to see exactly what is going on there. Stay in touch. Sterling

I, too, had some problems with digestion and spent a lot of time either in the bathroom because of something I ate, or was living on acid reduction pills because of the heart burn. I had gone to a gluten-free diet and find that most of those symptoms have gone away. I also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables which help with constipation issues. Hope this helps.
