I have restless legs and Pexola was prescribed. It works wonders. It's also a PD medication and nobody knows why it works for RL but it does.
I had the same symptoms and my neurologist prescribed Gabapentin It worked beautifully.
I take one Ropinirole 4mg tablet a couple hours before bed time. It does the trick for me. I've been taking this for more then 10 years.
